Business Systems Analyst

We're looking for a passionate Business Analyst to join our client's dynamic Global Technology & Enterprise Services team and propel the development of next generation point of sale platform powered by AI, latest cloud-native technologies and diverse set of travel ecosystem integrations.

Their collaborative, fast-paced Agile team flourishes with open communication with multi-functional stakeholders and innovative industry-leading technology solutions. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with product owners, business experts, developers and the entire team throughout the development cycle.

• Manage the resolution of incidents with timely communication, critical issue analysis and review within SLA (service level agreement)
• Analyze and drive RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
• Perform issue severity assessment based on impact to the business, and prioritize accordingly
• Create, maintain, and review business process models, data flows, business requirements, and use cases to become an expert on the travel industry's inner workings.
• Compile, research, analyze, and document requirements, workflows, processes, and functionalities.
• Generate clear, concise documentation to support innovative solutions.
• Maintain the JIRA board by ensuring work items are meticulously documented and tracked.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, including workflow and impacts.
• Be an active and collaborative team member, always willing to give ideas and solutions.
• Detect and triage software defects and inconsistencies, managing them to resolution.
• Conduct testing on releases to ensure top-notch quality reaches the production environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of business travel experience, understanding of both online and traditional business
• Good knowledge of multiple global distribution systems (GDS) – including Sabre and Apollo/Galileo
• Experience working with robotics tools, APIs and web services technology, Windows O/S platforms
• Strong MS Office Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus
• Understand the software development lifecycle
• Able to clearly capture technological requirements, guide internal teams' development, and assist with testing and implementation
• Able to identify underlying issues given symptoms reported by users
• Data driven; able to build and analyze metrics and reports
• Excellent time-management, organizational and interpersonal skills
