Sr. Cloud DevOps Engineer; AWS​/Azure

Stefanini Group is looking for an Sr. Cloud Dev Ops Engineer to complement the technical capabilities of our Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Tower (HCI) within the Infrastructure Services Division.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both AWS and Azure platforms, along with extensive experience in CI/CD practices, Git Hub, Terraform, and other Dev Ops tools.

The Dev Ops Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in automating and optimizing our infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, and implementing scalable and secure solutions. Our colleague will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting our AWS/Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, backups, networking, and security policies.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions or similar tools.
• Drive automation through advanced scripting (Power Shell, ARM Templates, etc.) and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Manage and support both Azure and AWS cloud environments. Support deploying Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes.
• Automate operational processes as much as possible, adhering to the principles of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of Azure/AWS environments to ensure ongoing operational excellence.
• Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply this knowledge to improve our customer's infrastructure.
• Provide expertise on Azure networking components including Network Security Groups (NSGs), Application Security Groups (ASGs), load balancers, and application gateways.
• AWS experience is mandatory, Azure or GCP are considered a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a Dev Ops Engineer/ Cloud Engineer role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure services and management.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, preferably Git Hub Actions.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform/Bicep.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and database concepts.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Experience with Azure networking and security, particularly Hub/Spoke topology, NSGs, ASGs, and Load Balancers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Certifications in AWS/Azure.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Git Ops principles.
• Additional value given to candidates with OS-level administration (Windows/Linux) and database administration experience.
