Senior Network Engineer; SP focus

WOW company is seeking to add to its team a Senior Network Engineer with a specialized focus on service providers. This position will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring efficient and secure connectivity for our clients and end-users.

• Develop efficient and scalable network architectures to meet the specific needs of service providers.
• Optimize existing infrastructure to enhance network performance and responsiveness, including proactive monitoring and analysis to prevent potential bottlenecks or outages.
• Configure and manage networks to ensure smooth and reliable operations for fulfilling company operations.
• Lead the implementation of network projects, ensuring seamless integration of new technologies and services.
• Administer and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and maintain robust security policies to protect the integrity and confidentiality of client data.
• Conduct regular and proactive security audits.
• Investigate and resolve complex network issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing end-user experience.
• Collaborate with other teams to address interdisciplinary issues.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with external service providers to ensure interoperability and service continuity.
• Developing software automation solutions for configuring and monitoring our networking devices, reducing manual tasks, and improving service delivery.
• Other duties as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing networks, with a specific focus on service provider environments.
• Extensive experience with routing and switching technologies, network protocols, and VPN services.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and security solutions.
• Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Project management skills to effectively manage projects and meet established deadlines.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest technological trends and adapt to a dynamic environment.
