Job

• Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance the current applications using Oracle based technologies.
• Write and modify PL/SQL programs based on the requirements to extract data, integration, schedule jobs, application enhancements.
• Production support with specific emphasis on the development of changes related to data bound queries, SQL tuning, PL/SQL enhancements to get improved performance.
• Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling and application code management.
• Collaborate development activities with other team members; create technical specifications and other documents as required.
• Design, develop and write PL/SQL code, enhance application code, tune SQL code to get better performance; develop relational data models and designs.
• Identify issues with application data, analyze, apply and provide emergency release and production support; review application server issues and provide resolution.
• Write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling.
• Update quality center defects/enhancements including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base.
• Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members. Work with business groups, internal-external team to understand requirement to write efficient system programs.
• Provide support for production application.

• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously in an aggressive environment including off‑hours support.
• Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environmental changes.
• Knowledge in software package installation, change management, and testing is preferable.
• Candidate should be able to translate functional requirements, build relational models, and transfer relational models into technical design and application code.
• Knowledge of the scripting language is highly desirable.
• Candidate should be an excellent team player and independently able to research and provide resolution for any production support.
