Sales Planning & Incentive Analyst – FTC (Zimmer Biomet)

Role OverviewThe Sales Planning & Incentives Management team supports markets with GTM, seller territories mapping and assignment, sales force optimization, performance, and incentives. This group plays a critical role in the company’s transformation into a data‑driven organization.
This role maintains commercial team mapping and optimization, supports target setting, and runs incentive calculations.
Responsibilities- Territory Management on Varicent Sales Planning:
- Work with business to maintain and update commercial teams’ territories mapping on Varicent Sales Planning platform
- Support business in setting quarterly and yearly targets
- Run data validation and reconciliation
- Ensure that the commercial team performance on PBI reflects mapping and rules on our working platform (Varicent SP)
- Sales Force Performance Management:
- Work closely with Commercial team and HR to ensure new joiners and role changes are correctly reflected on the platforms
- Run quarterly incentives on Varicent ICM following the Incentives Plan design
- Run validation checks
- Manage exceptions and requirements from Senior Leadership
- Answer business enquiries
- Analysis & Data Insights for Leadership team:
- Create models to provide business insights to the Leadership team
- Knowledge of Varicent Sales Planning and ICM
- Knowledge of Commercial Incentives
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to clean and validate data to ensure uniformity and accuracy
- Expertise in data mining and machine learning
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Strong communication skills – both written and oral
- SQL and Python programming languages
- BSc or MSc in data analytics or a comparable field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Effectiveness or Consulting in healthcare, preferably Orthopedics, using a variety of data analysis tools
- Knowledge of digital systems such as Varicent Platforms and PowerBI
- High interest and passion for data analysis and performance tracking
- Analytical ability to gather data, perform complex analysis, solve both business and technical problems (SQL and Python programming languages)
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work with a diverse group of people
- Creativity, critical thinking, and excellent problem‑solving skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and switch priorities quickly
- Passion for new technologies in healthcare, such as robotics or digital health technologies
- Fluency in written and spoken English
