About the Job:
The People Operations Coordinator will work closely with and directly support the Director of People & Culture, helping bring people programs and day-to-day operations to life as the company continues to grow. This role supports hiring, onboarding, and employee experience across the organization and is essential to keeping people processes running smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, balancing rapid growth and change with strong attention to detail and genuine care for employees.
Key Responsibilities- Talent Acquisition & Hiring Support
Support high-volume recruiting efforts across all departments through posting and screening candidates - Coordinate candidate outreach
Coordinate candidate outreach, interviews, manage ATS workflows, and ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience, following up with every candidate on their status - Onboarding & Employee Experience
Coordinate onboarding for new hires, including new hire paperwork, IT ticket requests, and first week meet and greets - Engagement & Culture
Support engagement initiatives, internal communications, and culture-building efforts - Team Calendar
Help manage team calendar, including employee start/end dates, company holidays, birthdays, and service anniversaries - People Operations & Compliance
Maintain and update employee data across People systems (i.e. Payroll and G-Drive) - Policy & Compliance Updates
Assist with updates to People policies as needed - HR Data & Compliance Tasks
Support with state/tax account registrations, vacation/sick time tracking, and offboarding - Legal Compliance
Assist with ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws - Documentation & Reporting
Help prepare People documentation, audits, and reporting as needed - Performance Management
Assist with performance review processes, including scheduling, reminders, and tracking completion - Projects
Assist with People projects and initiatives that align with People OKRs and company priorities
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a related field
- Experience working in a start-up required
- Experience working within apparel, retail, e-commerce, or DTC brands is strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of employment law a plus

Handles sensitive employee information and People Operations matters with the utmost confidentiality.
Tools & Systems
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Gusto, ADP)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Experienced with Google Workspace and communication software such as Slack
