Finance Manager

Spendbase is a fast-growing fintech SaaS startup helping companies take control of their spending. With our all-in-one platform, businesses can manage SaaS subscriptions, cloud costs, and corporate cards in one place — bringing clarity and control to company expenses.

We are looking for an experienced finance manager with deep knowledge of banking processes and EU or UK regulations. The ideal candidate has worked in a fintech or digital bank and has hands-on experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance. You understand how banks structure financial reporting, monitor key financial metrics, and interact with regulators.

• Prepare and submit financial reports in accordance with EU/UK regulatory requirements
• Monitor financial regulations, reserves, and safeguarding compliance
• Build and structure financial processes within a licensed entity (EMI / SEMI / FCA)
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and legal teams
• Prepare for audits, review policies, and develop financial models
• Develop internal reporting and control procedures

• 3+ years of experience in a digital bank or fintech / EMI company
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and financial reporting (EU/UK)
• Knowledge of compliance and financial controls within regulated institutions
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets
• English:
  Upper-Intermediate or higher

• Experience preparing for regulatory audits
• Knowledge of IFRS / UK GAAP
• Understanding of processes in neo-banks, challenger banks, or payment institutions
