The FP&A Analyst for Global Logistics supports end-to-end financial planning, data-driven analysis, and performance management across Global Logistics Operations. The role partners with Logistics Operations, Sourcing, Procurement, and local country teams to optimize freight, warehousing, customs, last-mile, and distribution spend through advanced analytics, automation, and AI-powered insights. The role is dotted line reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Global Sourcing and Logistics.
This role is an onsite position in our Wrocław office (Psie Pole).
Key Responsibilities- Act as a Business Partner to the Global Logistics and Sourcing teams.
- Maintain and continuously improve driver-based forecasting models using volume, mix, FX, seasonality, and rate assumptions at country and regional levels.
- Consolidate global/regional forecasts and support target-setting processes.
- Prepare reporting packages, dashboards, and cost bridges for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Analyze transportation modes, carrier performance, rate cards, lane economics, customs duties, accessorial and other cost factors.
- Translate operational changes into clear, actionable financial insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate month-end close, accruals, PO governance, and adherence to SOX-compliant controls.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing and other functions, with the objective of global cost efficiency and compliance.
- Support and drive automation and transformation initiatives (TMS modernization, S/4
HANA, BI improvements, etc.). - Leverage AI tools (Copilot, AI-driven dashboards) to automate reporting, variance explanations, and commentary.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis, modelling, and decision-support as required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics or manufacturing company.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot preferred) and ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
- Power BI is an asset.
- Critical-thinking skills and the ability to connect dots across data, operations, and financial insights.
- A collaborative team player who works effectively across functions and cultures.
- Solid FP&A fundamentals, including budgeting, forecasting, and working with financial plans.
- Ability to interpret large, complex datasets and translate operational metrics into clear financial insights.
- Experience with accruals, cost center management, PO governance, and SOX-compliant financial controls.
- Analytical, detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and efficiency.
- Ability to perform standard variance analysis, including volume, rate, and cost-trend.
