About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong FP&A experience and robust GAAP knowledge. This role requires someone who can work comfortably with complex financial models, support month-end close activities, and drive high-quality financial analysis for decision-making. The ideal candidate is an Excel super-user, experienced in building, managing, and reviewing large, integrated 3-statement financial models. This person must also be able to lean into GAAP-driven month-end close review, assisting with accuracy, consistency, and quality checks across financial statements.

This position is ideal for someone who has deep hands‑on FP&A experience and is comfortable working in fast‑paced environments where accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are critical.

Key Responsibilities Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Maintain, update, and improve large, complex 3‑statement Excel financial models, ensuring accuracy across income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular analysis using these models to support forecasting, variance reviews, and strategic decision‑making.
  • Ensure all links, formulas, and assumptions in the model are correct, transparent, and fully auditable.
  • Serve as the primary owner of the model, performing ongoing quality reviews and consistency checks.
  • Support scenario analysis and sensitivity testing using the 3‑statement model.
GAAP Support & Month‑End Close Review
  • Assist with month‑end close review by applying strong GAAP knowledge to identify potential issues, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies.
  • Perform quality checks across financial statements to ensure GAAP compliance.
  • Collaborate with accounting partners to validate month‑end results and ensure the integrity of reporting.
  • Review month‑end reports and identify accounting adjustments that may be needed.
  • Support the team by ensuring month‑end timelines are met and that deliverables are accurate.
Excel Expertise
  • Act as an Excel super‑user, providing advanced modeling skills including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups, and error‑checking.
  • Ensure Excel files and financial models remain organized, consistent, and optimized for performance.
  • Create and maintain documentation of model structure, key assumptions, and calculation methodology.
General FP&A Responsibilities
  • Support core FP&A routines such as monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting, using the 3‑statement model as a foundation.
  • Assist with variance analysis by comparing actuals to forecast and identifying key drivers.
  • Provide clear and structured financial information to leadership.
  • Ensure financial analysis and reporting are delivered with precision and attention to detail.
  • Help maintain consistency in financial processes and standards within the FP&A function.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in FP&A or related financial analysis roles.
  • Strong GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it in practical review settings.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in managing large, integrated models.
  • Prior experience building and maintaining 3‑statement financial models.
  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy and meeting deadlines.
