Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services Team Member to join their Warsaw office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with expertise in IFRS and German GAAP (HGB) to work on complex accounting and capital markets issues for a diverse client base.
Position OverviewAs a Capital Markets & Accounting Advisory Services Team Member, you will play a crucial role in supporting national and international clients in resolving intricate accounting and regulatory challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in assisting banks, insurance companies, and asset managers with complex matters related to financial instruments, insurance contracts, and structured transactions. You will engage in a wide range of projects, including IFRS conversions, implementation of new accounting standards, and tackling accounting aspects in M&A and private equity deals.
Responsibilities- Provide expert advice to clients on complex accounting and capital markets issues under IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)
- Assist banks, insurance companies, and asset managers with accounting and regulatory questions
- Engage in projects such as IFRS conversions, implementation of new accounting standards, and M&A deals
- Support capital market projects, including due diligence, prospectus preparation, and comfort letter processes
- Collaborate with colleagues from Audit, M&A, Tax, and Legal to deliver integrated client solutions
- Contribute to the development of innovative, tech-enabled solutions for finance function digitization
- Successfully completed (or near completion) degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in IFRS and HGB accounting
- Practical experience gained through internships in auditing, accounting, or consulting
Excellent analytical skills, proactive attitude, and collaborative mindset - Fluency in both German and English
