Role Mission
To develop innovative software solutions for next-generation 5G/6G networks, focusing on O-RAN architecture, AI-driven network optimization,еликс and secure disaggregated RAN systems. You'll be at the forefront of creating intelligent xApps/rApps that revolutionize how networks operate.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and prototype innovative algorithms for disaggregated RAN, security/Zero Trust, and Radio Resource Management (RRM). Potentially with the use of L1/L2/L3 emulators (commercial ones as well).
- Design and implement xApp/rApp applications for the O-RAN ecosystem using RIC API and E2/R2 interfaces.
- Deploy AI/ML-driven solutions for network optimization (e.g. based on reinforcement learning, swarm optimization or similar).
- Work with cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes) to deploy and scale network applications.
- Collaborate on research projects that may lead to patent applications (and/or papers).
- Integrate selected security solutions e.g. encryption (TLS/PKI, IPSec), Zero Trust architectures.
- Strong programming skills in Python (prototyping, AI/ML) - JAVA or C/C++ knowledge will be a plus.
- Good understanding of 5G/6G architecture and O-RAN Alliance standards (RIC, E2AP, R1, O-CU/O-DU).
- Experience working in cloud-native environments:
Kubernetes, CI/CD. - Basic knowledge of security principles (e.g. Zero Trust, TLS/PKI, IPSec).
- Ability to rapidly prototype solutions and work with technical documentation (3
GPP, O‑RAN). - Good command of English.
- Experience in Radio Resource Management (scheduling, interference management, load balancing).
- Hands‑on experience creating xApp/rApp applications (RIC SDK, E2/R1 interface).
- Practical AI/_ROQL experience: reinforcement learning, anomaly detection.
- Knowledge of libraries and HW suitable for fronthaul გადidhaul optimization (eCPRI, DPDK, eBPF, Smart
NIC/GPU). - Experience in MLOps (deploying AI models vicino telecom environments).
- Familiarity with network simulators: MATLAB, ns‑3.
- R&D experience (publications, patents).
