EHS Specialist; Environment & Occupational Safety Specialist

We are currently looking for an experienced EHS Specialist. You will be responsible for providing OHS service in accordance with the Regulation of the Council of Ministers on the OHS service, implementing activities in the field of fire protection in accordance with the Fire Protection Act, implementing and maintaining the Environmental Management System in accordance with the ISO 14001 standard, and building awareness of environmental protection, health and safety, and fire protection within the organization.

Key tasks:

• Conducting workplace inspections and monitoring compliance with OHS rules, including special conditions for vulnerable groups.
• Reporting hazards and recommending corrective actions, as well as preparing annual OHS analyses and improvement proposals.
• Participating in modernization and investment planning to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Supporting ergonomic standards, accident investigations, and maintaining related documentation.
• Advising on risk assessment, work organization, and protective measures.
• Coordinating OHS training, audits, and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including laboratories, medical services, and trade unions.
• Promoting safety and ergonomics awareness across the organization.
• Conducting employee training, supervising fire safety, organizing drills, and ensuring proper signage.
• Collaborating with external units and reporting fire safety status to management.
• Developing reports, procedures and monitoring KPIs.
• Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, managing waste, planning audits, and implementing system improvements.
• Conducting training and participating in customer audits.

• University degree in a relevant field
• Professional experience in similar position
• Good knowledge of English
• Completed training for fire protection inspectors
• Knowledge of standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001
• Qualifications of the internal auditor ISO 14001 and OHSAS (ISO
  18001)
• Knowledge of procedures and instructions at their own position
• Knowledge of MS Office
