Join our team as a Field Service Engineer in a permanent role based around the Warsaw area, Poland. In this exciting position you will install and upgrade systems and software at customer locations heirens ensuring that OIPT equipment is fully operational and ready for use. With regular extensive travel in Eastern Europe and occasional EMEA duty, this role offers the perfect opportunity for those who enjoy dynamic work environments and making a direct impact on customer satisfaction.

• Carry out the commissioning of equipment, including any operational and maintenance training requirements.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns for any warranty and service contract work.
• Report regularly to the EMEA Team Leader on all relevant issues and for PDR objectives.
• Provide a visit report for each customer visit detailing work completed, outstanding issues, time spent on site, travelling, etc., and help ensure that all chargeable work is invoiced to the customer promptly.
• Authorise system "buy‑off" prior to shipment, either with or without the customer’s presence.
• Liaise with technical support and systems engineering on any potential or actual system problems.
• Liaise with the Sales Team to provide useful background information.
• Maintain an accurate record of the status of systems, timing of warranty, parts supplied and service contracts.
• Keep all relevant enquiries and project files up to date.
• Provide detailed and accurate records of expenses incurred on behalf of the Company.

• Substantial relevant experience and training.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Good PC / PLC experience (preferred).
• Experience in semiconductor (desirable) or closely related high‑tech electronic industry.
• Fluent English speaker; a second European language would be a plus.
• Valid driving licence.
• Prepared for extensive travel for up to 90% of the time.
• Able to work on own initiative and prioritise multiple tasks.
