The candidate should hold a PhD in technical sciences in the discipline of Architecture and Urban Planning or in Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Transport. The candidate must have professional experience in a field corresponding to the discipline of Architecture and Urban Planning and/or Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Transport, as well as teaching experience in conducting courses related to issues of spatial planning and geodesy.

In addition, the candidate should demonstrate a scientific research record in this area.

Candidates for the above position should meet the following requirements:

• hold a PhD in technical sciences in the scientific discipline of architecture and urban planning or civil engineering, geodesy and transport;
• hold a Master’s degree in architecture or architecture and urban planning and/or civil engineering with a minimum final grade of 4.0;
• completion of doctoral studies in the discipline of architecture and urban planning or civil engineering,
• to fulfill requirements as described in the regulation dated 20th of July 2018 Higher Education and Science (Regulations from 2024, position 1571 with changes) and Rzeszow University of Technology Statute dated 27th of June 2019 (i.e. Regulation dated 20th of March 2025);
• meet the conditions specified in the Art. 21 law of 13th May 2016 on counteracting threats of sexual crime and minors protection (Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1802, as amended)
• demonstrate an interest in scientific research and teaching activities in the disciplines of architecture and urban planning as well as civil engineering, geodesy and transport;
• demonstrate at least 10 years of professional practice in a sector corresponding to the discipline of architecture and urban planning or civil engineering, geodesy and transport;
• have at least 5 years of experience as an academic teacher in subjects related to spatial planning and geodesy;
• demonstrate a scientific research record in the field of architecture and urban planning or civil engineering, geodesy and transport;
• demonstrate the ability to work in a team
• Polish, level: mother tongue
