The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2024, consolidated text, item 1571, as amended) and meet the following qualification criteria:
- a) a master's degree in engineering and technical sciences,
- b) experience necessary to teach subjects including:
Internal Combustion Engine Design and Power Systems, Automotive Vehicle Design, Automotive Diagnostics, Automotive Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Vehicle Mechatronics Components, On-Board Automotive Measurements, Powertrain Systems, Power Assistance Systems, - c) specialist training in automotive vehicle diagnostics, confirmed by automotive diagnostician qualifications,
- d) documented professional experience of at least 5 years in a professional automotive workshop/authorized service station (ASO), including the service, repair, and diagnostics of modern vehicles,
- e) hold/is in the process of obtaining teaching qualifications or have documented practical experience outside of higher education.

Responsibilities:
- Teaching a total of 93 hours of full-time and part-time studies, for the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year,
- Professional development, participation in research activities,
- Organizational work for the University of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz, particularly in promotional activities at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.
Specific Requirements
For foreign candidates, fluency in both spoken and written Polish is required. Employment as an academic teacher in the teaching staff group, based on a fixed-term, part-time employment contract, for the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.

The deadline for submitting documents is February 13, 2026 (the date of receipt at the University will be decisive). The competition results will be announced by February 16, 2026. Information on the results, along with the justification, will be published in the University's Public Information Bulletin and on the website of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
