Education Level PhD or equivalent

Qualification requirements:

• doctoral degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Biochemistry or Biotechnology,
• at least one-year teaching internship at the university,
• author or co-author of at least two chapters in a textbook or teaching manual approved for student instruction, published by a publishing house listed in the register of publishers of peer-reviewed scientific monographs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), or
• managing an educational project financed from external sources, or
• performing the role of a task coordinator in a project,
• publication of at least six scientific papers in journals listed in the register of scientific journals and peer-reviewed international conference materials of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW), with the Candidate being the primary author of at least two of them,
• author/co-author or editor/co-editor of scientific monographs or chapters in monographs published by a publishing house listed in the register of publishers of peer-reviewed scientific monographs of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW),
• proficiency in Polish and a working command of English.

The following will be an advantage:

• experience in working with plant material and compounds of organic origin,
• experience in working with microbiological material and intestinal microbiota,
• experience in laboratory work with cellular models,
• experience in managing a national scientific project,
• experience in managing or carrying out international scientific projects,
• experience in conducting research and development.

Required documents:

• CV with a description of scientific, teaching, and organizational experience,
• copies of documents confirming professional qualifications and education,
  in particular diplomas of: completion of higher education studies; conferring the doctoral / postdoctoral degree / title of Professor, specialist title; recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to the relevant Polish diploma,
• copy of a document confirming the right to practice medicine in Poland,
• copy of documents confirming the Candidate's scientific and teaching achievements, including a list of publications complete with ranking scores such as the Impact Factor, the place on the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education ranking list, the number of citations (MUW employees should provide their lists of publications confirmed by the MUW Library) - if applicable.
