- Must hold or be eligible to hold a Delaware Professional License as an Occupational Therapist
- Must be able to successfully complete and maintain certification in the district approved behavioral intervention program applicable for the setting (e.g. Safe & Positive Approaches to Behavior)
- Must be able to work well with children, staff, and community
- Must have completed and submitted online application prior to closing date

Success in this position requires the following knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Knowledge
- Familiarity with the Delaware Performance Appraisal System (DPAS-II) and/or Delaware Teacher Growth Support System (DTGSS).
- Understanding of Equity initiatives & resources that promote a culture of diversity and inclusion embracing differences as a strategic opportunity towards leading the District's efforts to build a culture of equality and embodiment for all students, families, employees and the community.
- Must possess a demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Special Education, 504 Plans.
- Must be aware of relevant policies and procedures mandated by the State of DE including Comprehensive School Safety Program and Delaware Emergency Management Agency that promotes a safe school environment and includes training in areas such as;
The RAVE Panic App, Navigate
360, School Emergency Plans, Suicide Response, Child Abuse Prevention, Criminal Youth Gang, Teen Dating Violence, School Bullying Prevention, & Safe Positive Approach to Behavior. - Must have experience and a working knowledge of e-School and data management systems in addition to Google Docs to monitor and track student data related to school discipline and climate.
