invites applications for two positions of ASSISTANT (RESEARCH AND TEACHING POSITIONS) AT THE DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
at the Faculty of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
Applicants must meet the requirements set out in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, (consolidated text:
Journal of Laws (Dz. U.) of 2023, item 742, as amended), the Statute of Czestochowa University of Technology, and the specific criteria established by the selection committee of the relevant department.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Declaration of intent to publish in the field of natural and exact sciences in the discipline of mathematics, or in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of mechanical engineering or technical computer science and telecommunications.
- Availability for full-time employment at Czestochowa University of Technology for one year with the possibility of extension.
- Completion of a long-cycle master’s degree or a bachelor’s and master’s degree in mathematics.
- Current scientific achievements in the area of exact and approximate methods of solving fractional differential equations, documented by at least one publication in a scientific journal with an Impact Factor, are welcome.
- Teaching experience at a higher education institution, particularly in mathematics or computer science programs, is welcome.
- Active participation in national and international conferences will be considered an asset.
- Achievements in organizational activities, such as co‑organizing conferences or promotional activities will be considered an asset.
- For candidates from outside the European Union, a valid visa and documented right to work in Poland are required. Employment of a foreign candidate will be possible after the National Academic Exchange Agency confirms the recognition of the academic degree.
- Fluency in spoken and written Polish is a necessary condition for employment (applies to foreign candidates).

- A record of academic, professional, teaching, and organizational achievements, as well as completed internships.
- Copies of employment certificates.
- A declaration of intent to publish scholarly work.
- A declaration stating that Czestochowa University of Technology will be the candidate’s primary place of employment, pursuant to the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text:
