About Our Team:

We believe learning does not have to be as hard as it still is, so we are on a mission to build the world’s most helpful learning experiences. We are a team of educators and artists creating video-first lessons, which we aim to make academically simple and relevant, as well as visually engaging and beautiful. Our video lessons have worksheets that students use to follow along (see Example). In this role, you will create illustrations to make our lesson material more engaging and beautiful.

• Create educational illustrations that increase the visual quality of our videos and worksheets.
• Build illustrations for our video lessons that are beautiful, well-organized, and aid the students’ understanding of the lesson material.
• Create educational visual assets (charts, diagrams, tables, maps, etc) in order to best display lesson content in our worksheets and videos.

• 2+ years of experience as an illustrator.
• Proficiency with illustrative tools, such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
• High attention to detail, high visual creativity, and strong sense of visual style.
• Dependable team player with strong communication skills.

• Experience as an illustrator for print and screens, or in educational content.
• Hungry to learn:
  Growth mindset; coachable; independent and fast learner.
• Experience in complex workflows; strong skills in organizing and documenting work.

Remote.

Full-time (40 hours/week) preferred; part-time (30 hours/week) minimum.
