The Supply Chain Services Analyst will support nVision Global’s logistics and supply chain services by analyzing data across multiple touchpoints — including orders, shipments, and freight invoices — to identify savings opportunities, improve visibility, and evaluate transportation provider performance. The goal of this role is to help customers optimize their freight spend through actionable data analytics, benchmarking exercises, and enhanced rate negotiation outcomes.
This position is ideal for a candidate who understands the flow of inbound and outbound shipments, can recognize cost or data anomalies, and is eager to grow into a management or leadership position within supply chain services.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze inbound and outbound shipment data across all modes (LTL, Truckload, Ocean, Air).
Review freight invoices to identify inconsistencies, anomalies, or overcharges.
Detect and highlight low-hanging cost opportunities and inefficiencies in routing or mode selection.
Develop actionable insights from data trends to support optimization initiatives.
Gather and compare rate data across transportation providers, lanes, and regions.
Support development and maintenance of internal rate benchmarking tools and dashboards.
Prepare cost models and summaries to support transportation provider negotiations.
Bid Package & Sourcing SupportAssist in the preparation and evaluation of transportation bid packages (RFPs/RFQs).
Work with procurement and sourcing teams to model cost scenarios and validate bid responses.
Track and summarize bid results, savings potential, and provider performance metrics.
Data Management & ReportingMaintain accuracy and consistency in shipment and rate databases.
Use Excel, Internal BI Tools (nSight, Impact AdHoc Reporting) or similar tools to develop dashboards and reports for management.
Present clear summaries of findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Operational & Process ImprovementCollaborate with logistics, auditing, and finance teams to align pricing and performance goals.
Participate in continuous improvement projects focusing on automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Learn and adapt to new technologies and business processes within the nVision Global ecosystem.
Success in this Role- Success will be measured by the ability to:
Deliver timely, accurate shipment and rate analyses that highlight improvement opportunities. Support rate negotiations and bid processes with clear, data‑driven insights. Identify and communicate cost anomalies and trends before they become issues. Contribute to continuous improvement and readiness for future leadership growth.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in logistics data analysis, transportation procurement, or freight audit. Hands‑on experience reviewing and interpreting freight invoices, shipment data, or transportation rate structures. Exposure to bid management or RFP development a strong plus.
Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling); strong analytical ability with attention to detail and data accuracy. Understanding of transportation modes, Incoterms, and freight cost components. Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn data into insight. Collaborative mindset and desire to learn and grow into leadership.
