We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who thrives on challenge, innovation, and results. You will take full ownership of the Polish market — combining strategic planning, hands‑on sales execution, and partnership management to deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities- Market Leadership (Poland): Be the face of Sylvania Group in Poland. Drive Sylvania Group’s commercial success in Poland through direct sales, partner engagement, and new business development.
- Shape Strategy: Design and execute winning sales and channel strategies tailored to the Polish market. Spot opportunities in smart lighting, building management systems, and energy‑efficient solutions.
- Deliver Growth: Hit ambitious revenue and profitability targets by acquiring new customers and expanding existing relationships.
- Client Relationships: Become a trusted advisor to key clients, distributors, and specifiers. Your network will be your power.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a strong pipeline, lead negotiations, and secure high‑value contracts.
- Market Insights: Monitor market trends, competitor moves, and regulatory changes to keep us one step ahead.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the Regional Sales Director and cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and deliver accurate forecasts.
- Compliance & Ethics: Conduct all commercial activities in line with company policies, quality standards, and legal frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Proven success in B2B sales or business development within lighting, building technology, or energy sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
- Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution ability and strong ownership mindset.
- Proficient in Polish and English (other Eastern European languages are an asset).
- Willingness to travel regularly within Poland and occasionally across the region.
