Job Summary:

Specright is seeking a motivated and ambitious early-career sales professional to join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you ll play a critical part in driving new business by identifying and qualifying opportunities with prospective customers. We re looking for individuals who are eager to launch a career in B2B SaaS sales, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a growth mindset to every interaction.

Top-performing SDRs will have a clear path to becoming Account Executives or advancing into other roles across the organization as we scale.

Specright offers cloud-based software (SaaS) for specification data management to Enterprise and Mid-Market level companies with complex needs. Whether it s packaging, formulas, or products, Specright helps companies reduce costs and empower efficiencies by sharing, analyzing and auditing specifications.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and generate new sales opportunities at Mid-Market and Enterprise-level companies.
  • Leverage tools such as Linked In, Zoom Info, Outreach, and others to build and manage high-quality outbound lead lists.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects through structured discovery to assess fit and intent.
  • Communicate the value of Specright s solutions through personalized email outreach, strategic cold calling, and Linked In engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives and sales leadership to drive pipeline creation and execute targeted account strategies.
  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and prepare summaries to support AE meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, contacts, and next steps in Salesforce.
  • Participate in Account Executive meetings, calls, and demos to continuously learn and prepare for a future closing role within the Specright sales organization.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally in a customer-facing or sales-related role (internships included).
  • Exposure to , Outreach.io, and Linked In Sales Navigator (preferred but not required).
  • Familiarity with Linked In and other prospecting tools such as Zoom Info is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, email, and organizational skills.
  • Should be detail-oriented - a great writer, speaker, and listener.
  • A drive for both personal and team success.
  • Adaptability - evolve quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
  • The tenacity to become an expert in a matter of weeks, and the curiosity to never stop learning.
  • The desire to dive head first into an early-stage tech startup environment.
