Overview
Associations International (AI) is seeking a detail-oriented Member Services Coordinator to join our Member Services team. In this role, you’ll support our client partners and their members, serving as a primary point of contact and delivering exceptional service that enhances the member experience and supports organizational growth.
This position is hybrid and based in Lexington, Kentucky. The coordinator reports to the Director of Member Services and plays a key role in day-to-day member support, event coordination, and operational processes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality customer service to assigned association members.
- Serve as primary and cross-trained support for multiple associations.
- Respond to all emails and calls within 24 hours.
- Develop strong knowledge of each client’s structure and member offerings.
- Process new and renewal memberships and manage related invoicing.
- Monitor and manage member communications across platforms.
- Coordinate conference and event registrations, including payment processing.
- Manage inventory needs and fulfillment of event materials.
- Support marketing efforts for membership renewals, recruitment, and event attendance.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and assist with process improvements.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least two years of customer service experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and accuracy in work.
- Proficiency with Office 365 (email, spreadsheets, etc.).
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new systems.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
