Arbeit Group is seeking passionate Java Backend Developers across junior, mid-level, and senior roles to help build and scale robust backend systems. In this role, you’ll develop high-quality backend services, contribute to API and database design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable products.

As a Backend Developer at Arbeit Group, you will work on backend applications built using Java and Spring Boot, developing RESTful APIs and ensuring seamless integration with other system components. You will collaborate with frontend engineers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver new features and improvements. Depending on your seniority, you may be responsible for leading discussions, optimizing performance, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to system architecture decisions.

This is a hands‑on engineering role suited for developers seeking stability, growth, and impact in a collaborative work environment.

• ✓ Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java
• ✓ Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs
• ✓ Collaborate closely with Frontend, QA, Product, and other engineering teams
• ✓ Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend performance issues
• ✓ Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices
• ✓ Senior-level:
  Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers

• ✓ Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience
• ✓ Basic understanding of Java and OOP principles
• ✓ Familiarity with Spring Boot (advantage)
• ✓ Strong willingness to learn and grow
• ✓ Able to communicate effectively in English

• ✓ 2–4 years of backend development experience
• ✓ Strong command of Java and Spring Boot
• ✓ Proven experience developing REST APIs
• ✓ Good understanding of relational databases (MySQL/Postgre
  
  SQL)
• ✓ Ability to work independently and within a team
• ✓ Strong English communication skills

• ✓ 5+ years of backend development experience
• ✓ Expert in Java, Spring Boot, and system design
• ✓ Experience with high-traffic or scalable backend architectures
• ✓ Proven ability in code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership
• ✓ Deep knowledge of performance tuning and backend security practices
• ✓ Fluent English communication skills (mandatory)
