The BE Collector's primary objective is to manage and resolve Non-Performing Loan (NPL) accounts that have been transitioned from FE Collectors. The main focus will be on effectively handling these accounts to achieve resolution and recovery. This role requires a strategic approach to collections, strong negotiation skills, and a commitment to achieving timely and effective resolutions. The BE Collector will work closely with other departments to ensure comprehensive account management and recovery strategies.

• Perform collection and recovery activities for assigned portfolios.
• Assess reasons for non‑payment and propose solutions.
• Negotiate repayment and settlement arrangements with borrowers.
• Propose Reschedule and Restructure (R&R) plans for Non‑Performing Loan (NPL) debtors based on financial analytics, business conditions, collateral conditions and compliance, for authorization according to CDL.
• Follow up on recovery actions with lawyers and provide feedback.
• Prepare and submit government guarantee termination memos/action plans (where applicable) with regards to their BE customers.
• Prepare documents for legal processes (e.g., Letter of Demand, Statutory Demand, Bankruptcy Petitions).
• Review AML/KYC for alert accounts.
• Liaise with lawyers and coordinate site visits.
• Adjust cash flow and liquidation periods in the NPL system with maker/checker (BBS plans to include in new KRCSA).
• Support mortgage and/or other collateral repossession and sales.
• Provide feedback to the Team Leader on suspicious transactions.
• Manage customer disputes/feedback professionally and timely.

• Respond to dividend claims. Identify if the dividend belongs to BB accounts handled by CM and instruct Admin to pass the necessary entry. Retrieve a copy of Proof of Debt (POD) if the claim involves Enterprise Singapore (ESG)/ Loan Insurance Scheme (LIS) loans so that Admin can seek ESG/LIS insurer’s approval on the apportionment.
