We seek a Project Control Engineer that is a skilled and motivated individual able to plan and execute project planning activities based on the project needs. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the schedule of our engineering construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality and timely delivery in alignment with client expectations.
RequirementsQualifications / Education & Certificates:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline / related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in Project Scheduling, preferably engineering projects in construction, process engineering, oil and gas. Prior Experience in LNG or Power Plant Projects is advantageous.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of project sequence of activities and logic driven.
Communication & Interpersonal
Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities with internal and external multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good command of written and spoken English.

- Highly motivated and proactive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Eager to learn and with good technical background.
- Adaptive to management changes & approaches, while maintaining a positive attitude in challenging work environments.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining the project schedule by using Primavera P6, aligning with project scope, milestone and deliverables.
- Consulting with project managers, site managers and engineers to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Monitor project progress, compare planned vs. actual performance, and report variances.
- Generate schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
- Conduct what-if scenarios and schedule impact assessments for changes or delays.
- Support project teams in resource levelling, cost-loaded schedules, and earned value management (EVM).
- Coordinating project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Perform critical path analysis, identify schedule risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
- Preparing, submitting and follow up on project progress reports.
- Recommending actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
- Keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
- Will be handling Hong Kong projects
