About
The Role
The Maintenance MIS Executive will be responsible for managing maintenance-related data, reports, and documentation for fleet operations across multiple cities. This role supports preventive and breakdown maintenance by ensuring accurate MIS reporting, job card updates, spare parts tracking, and coordination with site mechanics and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Handle maintenance MIS for multiple cities
Update and maintain job cards and vehicle history cards
Prepare daily vehicle morning and evening reports
Maintain daily maintenance sheets and MIS documentation
Track and record engine oil, hydraulic oil, and gear oil consumption
Raise city-wise spare parts requirements and verify parts with site mechanics
Coordinate with site mechanics and external vendors/workshops
Manage local vendor bills, verify, and submit to accounts department
Support preventive and breakdown maintenance reporting
Resolve operations-related vehicle maintenance issues
Ensure proper documentation and record accuracy
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience:
1–3 years in fleet maintenance, vehicle maintenance, or workshop operations
Industry Exposure:
Fleet operations, logistics, waste management, or heavy vehicle maintenance preferred
Technical & Reporting Responsibilities
Maintain maintenance MIS using MS Excel
Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports
Monitor vehicle downtime and maintenance history
Maintain spare parts usage and inventory records
Ensure accuracy in job cards, oil records, and maintenance logs
Coordinate data between operations, mechanics, and accounts teams
Skills & Competencies
Basic to good knowledge of vehicle systems and fleet maintenance
Understanding of job cards, preventive maintenance & breakdown handling
Strong MS Excel & MIS reporting skills
Ability to coordinate with mechanics, vendors, and internal teams
Good documentation and record-keeping skills
Problem-solving ability for maintenance-related operational issues
Other Requirements
Willingness to handle multi-city operations
Ability to work in coordination with on-ground teams
Basic understanding of vendor billing and payment processes
Good communication and follow-up skills
