Job Description

Maintain accurate stock records of raw materials, spare parts, tools, and finished goods.
Monitor stock levels to avoid overstocking or shortages.
Conduct physical stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation to match system records with actual inventory.
Implement inventory control methods like FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) to optimize material usage Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials according to industry standards.
Categorize items based on usage frequency, shelf life, and storage requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse/store to facilitate smooth operations. Collaborate with the purchase department to track material requirements and deliveries.
Verify received materials against purchase orders (POs) and invoices.
Report discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to vendors and management. Ensure timely issuance of materials to production based on job orders.
Maintain records of goods issued, stock transfers, and returns.
Prepare dispatch documents such as invoices, packing lists, and gate passes for outgoing shipments.
Coordinate with logistics teams for smooth material movement.
