The Head of Operations will be reporting to the CEO of the company. The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the factory's operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment. This leadership role requires a strong background in manufacturing, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Experience in Lean and Finishing process is a clear advantage.

Job Description
1. Production Management:

· Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal, utilization of resources to meet production targets and on, me delivery.

· Monitor production processes, quality control, and efficiency, identifying and

· addressing any issues that may impact production output.

· Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction by Lean.
2. Team Leadership:

· Recruit, train, and manage factory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork,

· accountability, and continuous improvement.

· Set clear performance expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations for factory personnel.
3. Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

· Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to manufacturing operations.

· Ensure that we follow BSI, SMETA four pillar or any other external system our customers ask us to follow.
4. Inventory and Materials Management:

· Manage inventory levels, optimizing stock levels to meet production needs while minimizing waste Just In time.

· Collaborate with procurement to ensure a consistent supply of raw materials and components.
5. Quality Assurance:

· Ensure the production meet or exceed quality standards set.

· Ensure production follow and take corrective actions as necessary.
6. Cost Control:

· Monitor and control manufacturing expenses to ensure operations are within budget.

· Identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and implement them effectively.

· Monthly report on Variance of Material and Labour use, deviating from our standard.
7. Maintenance and Equipment:

· Oversee the maintenance and repair of production machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.

· Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
8. Project Management:

· Execution of projects as specified by the management from time to time through a process of analysis, planning, coordination, and execution to meet the established goals.
9. Reporting and Documentation:

· Prepare regular reports on production, quality, and efficiency for senior management.

· Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, and maintenance activities.
Required working experience

· Lean manufacturing experience would be a benefit
Minimum 15 years of experience in modern furniture production and with a minimum of 5 years with management of production units with more than 300 people
