Quality Analyst

The QA Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance process, ensuring software products meet the highest quality standards before release. This role involves leading a team of QA engineers, defining testing strategies, automating test processes, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Understand end-to-end project requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
Plan, design, and execution of comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Conduct all types of manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and exploratory testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts and clients to ensure product quality.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clarify requirements, and report on test progress and issues.
Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools; ensure timely resolution through active follow-up.
Contribute to and improve the overall SDLC process and Agile practices in the team.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Prepare and present detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders and clients.

Required Skills & Experience

Manual testing with a solid grasp of test processes and methodologies.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile frameworks.
Hands-on experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and other test/project management tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with international clients confidently.
Proven experience in client management and stakeholder communication.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to basic API testing, Postman, or database validation is a plus.
Understanding of test automation concepts (even if not hands-on) is a bonus.
