Role Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Channel Partner Acquisition & Sales Leader to build, scale, and manage a strong partner ecosystem across IT, SaaS, Cloud, Hosting and Software Licensing . This role is responsible for acquiring strategic partners, driving partner-led revenue, expanding market reach, and ensuring long-term partner success.
You will play a critical role in accelerating growth through resellers, MSPs, system integrators, cloud service partners, and referral alliances .
Key Responsibilities
Channel Partner Acquisition
Identify, onboard, and activate resellers, MSPs, cloud consultants, ISVs, Software Licensing, hosting partners, and system integrators
Design scalable partner acquisition and onboarding frameworks
Own partner contracts, pricing structures, and commercial models
Partner Sales & Revenue Growth
Drive revenue through indirect and partner-led sales channels
Build joint go-to-market (GTM) plans with partners
Enable partners with product training, sales playbooks, demos, and certifications
Track partner pipeline, revenue forecasts, and deal closures
Product & Technical Alignment
Work closely with Product, Pre-Sales, and Engineering teams to ensure partners understand offerings
Translate technical capabilities (cloud, hosting, SaaS, Software Licensing platforms) into partner-ready value propositions
Support partners during POCs, demos, and solution design
Market Expansion & Strategy
Expand presence in SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments through partners
Identify new vertical opportunities such as BFSI, eCommerce, Healthcare, EdTech, Startups, and SMEs
Monitor competitor offerings, pricing, and channel strategies
Partner Relationship Management
Build long-term strategic relationships with key partners
Manage partner performance, escalations, and conflict resolution
Conduct regular partner reviews and business planning sessions
Cross-functional Collaboration
Align channel strategy with Direct Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support teams
Collaborate on partner marketing initiatives such as webinars, events, co-branded campaigns
Ensure smooth partner-to-customer handover and post-sales experience
Leadership & Scale (AVP / VP Level)
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing channel sales team
Define channel revenue targets, partner tiers, and incentive programs
Own national / regional channel strategy and P&L
Represent the company at industry events, cloud summits, and Software Licensing conferences
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong experience in IT / SaaS / Cloud / Hosting / Software Licensing Channel Sales
Proven ability to build and scale partner ecosystems
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, hosting solutions, and Software Licensing products
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Data-driven with experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Hub Spot, Zoho, etc.)
Ability to manage complex, multi-partner sales cycles
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, or related field
Experience working with MSPs, SIs, Cloud Service Providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), Software Licensing Platforms
Existing partner network is a strong advantage
