Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations
Record and update daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Receipts, Payments).
Maintain books of accounts as per company policies and accounting standards.
Handle vendor and customer reconciliations.
Perform banking transaction reconciliation.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Create Sales Estimates and Invoices.
Follow up with customers and the internal team for payments.
Monitor outstanding payments and update ageing reports.
Coordinate with the sales team and stockiest to resolve billing/order-related issues.
3. Bank & Ledger Management
Perform bank reconciliation statements regularly.
Reconcile ledger accounts and identify discrepancies.
Maintain accurate financial data in ERP/Accounting Software (ZOHO Books).
4. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in GST and TDS calculations, preparation, and filings.
Ensure timely submission of tax-related documents.
Support auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare MIS reports including sales reports, ageing analysis, etc.
Maintain proper documentation for accounting, taxation, and internal controls.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required

Skills & Qualifications
Education
B Com / M Com / MBA (Finance).

Experience
1–3 years of experience in accounting (Freshers with strong knowledge may also apply).

Experience with accounting software such as ZOHO Books is preferred.

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formatting).
Excellent data accuracy and record-keeping skills.

Soft Skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
