We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Accounting Manager to lead our manufacturing finance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the accounting team of 2 (plus you makes
3) and functions related to manufacturing including: payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, month-end closings, year-end closing. Serve as point of contact for Human Resource related functions, such as onboarding, PTO tracking, and benefits of renewals. G/L Accounting as well as inventory and raw material adjustments as needed for month-end/year-end and financial statement disbursement to stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions- Manage and oversee all aspects of manufacturing accounting, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), and other regulatory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliation and financial report writing.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial processes, supporting audit readiness and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial models tailored to manufacturing operations.
- Utilize accounting software - Quick Books
- Proven experience in manufacturing accounting or related fields with a strong understanding of technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account analysis.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance, governmental accounting standards, and non-profit accounting practices is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial management software including Sage, Xero, Quick Books or equivalent tools; experience with financial software integration is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for reporting purposes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in account reconciliation and balance sheet management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
