Job Overview

Residential Driver at Live Oak Environmental (via Wizehire). Play a vital role in building cleaner, greener communities through sustainable waste management. Operate a heavy-duty truck to collect household waste, ensuring each service is carried out safely and efficiently. Work alongside a co-driver to maintain smooth and timely operations.

$21 - $24 hourly

• Drive a heavy-duty truck safely in Jacksonville, TX, US, to collect residential household waste
• Perform pre-and post-trip inspections on vehicles to comply with DOT regulations
• Report any safety concerns or service issues promptly to the Route Supervisor/Manager or Dispatch
• Attend and actively participate in all mandatory training sessions, briefings, and meetings
• Work closely with the Route Supervisor/Manager to optimize route efficiencies
• Immediately inform management of any incidents, accidents, or service interruptions
• Communicate customer requests effectively to the Dispatch or Route Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure all bins are emptied and leave customer locations clean and orderly
• Follow assigned routes diligently and accurately complete end-of-day paperwork
• Assist other drivers as necessary to meet customer demands

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
• Current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsement
• Legally eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age
• Physical abilities: motor coordination, handling objects greater than 50 lbs, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience driving a video/GPS‑monitored vehicle; exposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes
• Schedule:
  
  10‑hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability as needed
