Job Purpose & SummaryIn our retail locations, Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in supporting pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise. As a Technician, you will support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store. Technicians are often the first point of contact to assist our patients and customers, ensuring prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately while providing caring service that exceeds expectations.
- Live our purpose by following all company SOPs at each workstation.
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy, offering immunizations and other services, and demonstrating compassionate care.
- Complete basic inventory activities—putting away deliveries, cycle counts, returns‑to‑stocks, etc.
- Expand clinical and technical knowledge to better assist patients.
- Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles.
- Deliver additional patient health care services such as immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and voluntarily staffing off‑site clinics (where lawful).
- Obtain Technician Immunizer status to prepare and administer vaccines.
- Educate patients about vaccines and refer questions to the pharmacist‑on‑duty.
- Monitor for adverse reactions and report per public health requirements.
- Collect and document patient and supply information.
- Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
- Comply with state board of pharmacy requirements governing the practice of pharmacy (age, education, licensure, certification).
- State‑level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
- Must be at least 16 years old if state law does not mandate a higher minimum age.
- Must have a high school diploma, equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or equivalency program if no minimum educational requirement is mandated.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Complete required training within the designated timeframe.

Concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly, and confirm prescription accuracy. - Customer Service & Team Orientation:
Actively assist people in a friendly manner and respond appropriately to patients’ reactions. - Communication
Skills:
Use verbal and written communication, active listening, and clear questioning. - Mathematical Reasoning:
Use math to solve prescription dosage problems. - Problem Resolution:
Identify and resolve challenging interactions. - Physical Demands:
Mobility, lifting up to 20 lbs, extended periods upright, precision tasks, etc. - Perform any additional tasks directed by Supervisor or Manager.
- 1–3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
- Ability to work in the home store and travel to other locations as needed.

Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is $16.00 – $24.00 per hour. The actual base offer varies by experience, education, geography, and other factors.
