LAHC is seeking a full-time or part-time Veterinarian to join the team!
Liverpool Animal Health Center is a dedicated, state-of-the-art animal care facility committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care for pets and animals in Liverpool, NY. Our team of skilled veterinary professionals is passionate about delivering exceptional medical care to animals in a welcoming, supportive environment. As an accredited hospital with both AAHA and NYSVMS, our professional and courteous health care team seeks to provide the best possible care for our highly valued patients and their owners.
Exciting Opportunity to Work with Exotic Pets and Wildlife! You’ll have the unique chance to treat a wide variety of animals, including exotic pets and wildlife, such as birds of prey. If you have a passion for caring for species beyond the traditional dogs and cats, this role provides an exciting and diverse experience. You’ll work with a team that values the importance of specialized care for these animals, ensuring that they receive the attention and medical treatment they deserve.
ResponsibilitiesProvide veterinary care to a variety of animals, including exotic pets and wildlife. Deliver compassionate and high-quality medical treatment in a welcoming clinical environment. Communicate effectively with pet owners and team members. Work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Uphold standards of care consistent with an AAHA- and NYSVMS-accredited hospital.
Qualifications- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in New York.
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required for recent graduates. We offer exceptional mentorship to new graduates.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with both pets and their owners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
