Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and help us make a real difference every day. Your commitment will keep our medical facility running well as you handle important clinical tasks. By supporting our providers and giving patients caring, high-quality service, you will play an important part in women’s health. Use your skills in medical procedures, vital signs, and lab work to help our patients have a positive experience.

Responsibilities
  • Handle all duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support the providers
  • Check Vital signs, administer glucose drinks, administer any appropriate therapeutic injections/vaccinations, and perform finger sticks for glucose and hemoglobin level checks.
  • Collect and order specimens
  • Collect and order pathologies
  • HIPAA compliance
  • Work together with all departments to ensure continuity of care for patients
  • Set up and assist providers with in-office procedures
  • Facilitate Fetal Non-stress tests
  • Training, stocking, and appropriate labeling
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, act as a chaperone for routine exams
  • Charting in Electronic Medical Records systems
  • Understand navigating medical records for pertinent tasks
Qualifications
  • Preferred previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
  • Preferred familiarity with medical billing procedures and health insurances
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Dedication to outstanding patient care, and teamwork among coworkers
  • Dependability
  • Preferred basic understanding of ICD 10 codes
  • Medical Assistant or relevant certifications are preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Employment Type:

Full Time;

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, roughly 7:45am–4:30pm or 5:00pm daily.
