Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other team members are essential.

Jacksonville, Illinois, United States

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to patients.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in Cerner.
- Float between 2 Med Surg units as needed.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois or be in the application process with ETA.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience required.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- ACLS certification.

Special Considerations:

- Will work every other weekend.
- May float between two Med Surg units.
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without pay.

- 3x12 Nights ).
- Discuss schedule requests with manager.
