• Deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care to individuals with acute medical needs.
• Conduct detailed assessments and develop individualized care plans that support recovery.
• Administer medications, IV therapies and treatments with precision and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor patient conditions, responding proactively to changes and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery strategies and long‑term health management.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists and healthcare teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed RN in Illinois.
• CPR certification required (or must be completed during onboarding).
• New graduates and experienced RNs welcome.
• 2–3 years of acute care experience preferred.

• Provide direct nursing care in alignment with hospital policies and clinical standards.
• Monitor patient progress, document care interventions and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support patient education efforts to enhance understanding and self‑care management.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in training, mentoring and onboarding new nurses and students.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements.

This position is based at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, IL, part of Memorial Health’s network of care.
