Overview
Hiring Wound Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants in Jacksonville, IL for Ameri Wound, LLC. Roles involve wound care services in long-term care facilities in the Jacksonville, IL area. Training is provided; prior wound care experience is not required.
Responsibilities- Round weekly at assigned facilities within territory.
- Diagnose patient conditions via physical examination and/or telemedicine.
- Perform medical procedures such as debridement as necessary.
- Communicate and collaborate on findings and treatments with facility clinical staff.
- Inform patients about diagnosis and treatment goals.
- Document each patient encounter in APRIMA EMR and maintain patient medical records on company laptop.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities as needed.
- APRN or PA-C certification.
- Two years of experience as a Solo Practitioner preferred.
- Active, unrestricted state medical license.
- DEA license.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with facility staff and patients.
- Strong EMR documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Weekly rounds:
Monday–Friday, about 7am–4pm with flexible start time. - No evenings, weekends, or on-call requirements.
- Part-Time (2–3 days/week) or Full-Time (4–5 days/week).
- Uncapped W-2 earnings potential, dependent on provider availability and patient volume (projected $175k–$195k for full-time).
- Instruments and administrative support provided; company laptop and EMR (APRIMA) available.
- Malpractice insurance provided for both full- and part-time providers.
- Mileage reimbursement per IRS guidelines.
