Overview
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy treatment to patients of all ages under the supervision of a physical therapist. All procedures are carried out in accordance with established standards, policies, protocols, and guidelines.

Salary: USD $24.04/Hr. to USD $37.26/Hr.

Licensure/Certification/Registry Qualifications

• Illinois eligible/licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
• CPR certification required.

Experience

• Work experience preferred.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Universal Precautions Category I.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient care program as established by the therapist for patients of all ages.
• Perform treatment procedures safely and according to APTA standards and department policies.
• Communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist and team members.
• Take appropriate action based on patient’s condition.
• Participate in patient care documentation.
• Maintain environment and equipment in a neat, safe, and functional condition.
• Update skills through in-service and continuing education.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling.
• Participate in training programs for students, staff, and community.
• Promote health and safety.
• Participate in competency assessments.
• Perform other related work as required.
