Yona is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team. Experience is not required, but preferred. We value a warm, friendly attitude and a commitment to providing clean, welcoming environments for residents, visitors, and coworkers.

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into carts
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory
• Washes, dries, folds, and distributes customer clothing
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas; keeps areas neat, orderly, and safe
• Follows all company policies and procedures
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs
• Delivers laundry as specified
• Prioritizes customer service, ensuring high-quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work effectively with residents and personnel
• Must provide a criminal background check
• Laundry experience is a plus
