JOB SUMMARY

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.
• Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, takes responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.

• Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.
• Responds to field communication, locates vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interviews them to determine product availability and sales terms.
• Administers on-line purchasing systems.
• Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

• Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.
• Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.
• Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.
• Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.
• Responsible for tool inventory and control: § Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools
• Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.
• Embodies the Cool Sys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education / Training

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.
• Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.
• Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.
