Base pay range$28.00/yr - $30.00/yr

Reporting to our Branch Manager, the CDL B Driver will support the local branch. The CDL B Driver is responsible for the transportation of non-hazardous and hazardous waste materials via multiple vehicle types including but not limited to Straight Trucks, Vac Trucks, Box Vans, Air Movers, etc. The CDL B Driver also performs tasks under the direct guidance of a supervisor including non-emergency and emergency response activities involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing and various other remedial activities.
Duties/Responsibilities- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
- Adherence and documentation of all transportation compliance requirements including inspection reports, mileage logs, trip reports, etc.
- Predominately anticipated local driving however may require some out-of-town travel
- Ability to load and unload their loads
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions.
- Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights
- Operates light and heavy equipment, not limited to forklifts, aerial lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, excavators, pressure washers, pumps, and other company work vehicles.
- Performs lab packing and pick-up support for local clients.
- Attends mandatory training to earn certifications and obtain information specific to responsibilities.
- Ensures all proper paperwork is signed and submitted.
- Works “on-call” based on a rotating “on-call” schedule for Emergency Responses. May require out-of-town travel. Length of travel will vary, based on service center and on-going project requirements.

- Complies with ongoing and random drug testing and physicals as required by the company and our clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Operation of vehicles with a GVWR greater than 26,000 pounds, as well as any vehicle towing a trailer that does not exceed a GVWR of 10,000 pounds.
- Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies.
- Hazmat transportation, including placarding and manifesting.
- Must be able to get to/from the job site.
- Demonstrates accountability and punctuality.
- High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- At least two years of CDL B Driving experience.
- Current CDL
B. - Tanker & Hazmat Endorsements.
- No Manual or Airbrake restrictions.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening.
- Must be able to successfully complete OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and other mandatory trainings.
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
