Water Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Water Truck Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Water Truck Driver is to transport water to construction sites, ensuring crews working in remote areas have the water they need for their tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting water in specialized trucks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safe, timely delivery of water to designated locations.

• Water Transport:Drive a specialized water truck to transport water to construction sites, ensuring all needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Supply Monitoring:Monitor water supply levels within the truck’s tank to ensure an adequate supply is available, particularly during peak demand periods.
• Route Planning & Time Management:Utilize GPS and good time management skills to plan and navigate routes, ensuring timely deliveries and minimizing delays.
• Vehicle Maintenance & Cleanliness:Maintain the cleanliness of the truck, including regular washing and proper disposal of waste. Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and report any abnormalities or needed repairs to the Equipment Manager.
• Safety & Weather Adaptability:Drive safely in various weather conditions and navigate through heavy traffic, maintaining focus on safety and efficiency at all times.
• Physical Tasks:Lift up to 50 pounds as required for loading and unloading. Climb the equipment’s ladder to access the operator’s seat.

• Licensing:Must hold a valid CDL Class A or B driver’s license with tanker and hazmat endorsements.

  Proven experience driving trucks safely, with a clean driving record.
• Experience:Prior experience in water truck driving or similar roles is preferred, but not required.
• Background Check:Must be able to pass a drug and background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.

This position involves periods of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Employees must be able to climb ladders to access the operator’s seat and perform tasks outdoors in varying weather conditions.
