The Motorist Services (MS) Analyst II in the Bureau of Motorist Services Support, Quality Assurance Program is essential in meeting the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) statutory directive and strategic goals by working to strengthen the integrity of driver license and motor vehicle issuance offices throughout the state. This position will work independently in a professional project-oriented position that serves to protect the citizens of Florida by ensuring accurate issuance of driver license and motor vehicle credentials through quality assurance, monitoring, compliance, and support activities as well as working to strengthen and support partnerships with Tax Collectors and other government and private organizations partnering with the Department.

Responsibilities include conducting advanced reviews of non-compliant driver license and motor vehicle issuance transactions and generating complex written and statistical reports based on findings to identify possible weaknesses, recommend changes and enhancements, make determinations, and work with management to resolve potential issues. The ideal candidate for this position is self-motivated, analytical, and possesses excellent data analysis and report writing skills.

• Knowledge of the principles and techniques of effective oral and written communication.
• Knowledge of the methods of data collection, analysis, and organization.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office, to include knowledge of advanced Excel functions (formulas, pivot tables, and conditional formatting).
• Skill in understanding and applying applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to determine compliance with Motorist Services program standards.
• Skill in the Online Registration and Identity Operating Network (ORION)/Florida Driver License Information System (FDLIS), Florida Real-time Vehicle Information System (FRVIS), Driver and Vehicle Information Database (DAVID), and Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE).
• Skill in conducting research, evaluating data, and developing recommendations.
• Skill in preparing and delivering professional papers, research studies, presentations, evaluations, and reports.
• Skill in planning, coordinating, and managing multiple work assignments with varied deadlines.
