End Dump Driver

This position is responsible for the pickup and offloading of aggregate raw materials using a tractor and end dump trailer. Drivers may be required to work in the Dry Bulk department. A current CDL A license and a clean MVR are required. Local deliveries and home each night. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.

• Pick up raw aggregate materials using a tractor and end dump trailer
• Safely dump raw materials using end dump trailer
• Transport block, mortar, and all other building materials to customers in a safe manner as needed
• Make assigned deliveries in a safe and timely manner
• Assist and supervise loading of truck to ensure proper order and weight distribution
• Receive instructions from dispatcher, complete invoices for materials, follow directions to job site, and adhere to any special instructions
• Maintain complete and accurate records such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation, and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
• Maintain good customer relations
• Perform pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and report any concerns or problems immediately
• Provide and document proper routine maintenance of assigned truck and loading/unloading equipment
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CDL A license required
• At least 2 years of current CDL experience
• Clean MVR
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Required DOT yearly physical
