Florida Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Jacksonville – $38–$45/hr + Steady Commercial Work
Florida Journeyman License Required (Active & In Good Standing)
We are hiring for long-term commercial and mission-critical projects in Jacksonville. This is steady work with no gaps between jobs and advancement opportunities as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement solutions
- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades
- Adhere to safety practices and procedures
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training
- Journeyman Electrician license preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good communication skills

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed during the workday.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to safely navigate construction sites, including uneven surfaces and ladders.
- Must be able to use hand tools and power tools required for electrical tasks.
- Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.).
- Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
