Controls Service Technician; electrical troubleshooting exp req

Salary: $29-$35/hr. ($60,000-$72,000) + Paid OT (time and a half)

Our client, a well-established building controls and energy management company, is looking to expand their Service Team by adding a new Technician in Jacksonville, FL. Majority of their clients are within the Greater Jacksonville area allowing for a better work/life balance with limited extended travel. Important Note: Their customers are fairly concentrated in the Jacksonville area. The most extensive travel will be to Savannah and Thomasville, GA or to the Orlando and Tallahassee area.

• Service environmental-control and building systems (HVAC, lighting, etc.)
• Check and verify a variety of sensors (temperature, amps, static pressure, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues to ensure operational efficiency
• Perform system diagnostics and calibrations to maintain peak performance
• Review and interpret electrical schematic wiring diagrams
• Travel to client sites (75%) and provide remote diagnostics when possible
• Ensure equipment safety standards and maintain safe work environments
• Act as a liaison between internal teams and external clients
• Participate in on-call rotation (typically, once every fifth week)
• Pursue ongoing education and training to expand BAS skills

• Strong electrical aptitude with experience using multimeters required
• Field travel (typically local) required
