Pipe Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking a Pipe Welder local to Jacksonville, FL for a short-term shipyard project.

Project Dates:
Immediate start, approximately 1-2 weeks (possibility to extend for qualified candidates). Pay: $30-$32/hr hours:
Mon-Fri, 40 hrs/week.

Scope of Work:
-Welding carbon steel piping
-Stick and MIG welding processes
-Working on fire water line installation for shipboard systems
-Assisting with layout, alignment, and prep of piping as needed
-Working from prints and coordinating with pipe fitters and other trades onsite

Requirements:
-Must have valid Birth Certificate and Driver's License
-2+ years of shipyard or industrial pipe welding experience
-Proficient in Stick and MIG welding
-Ability to read piping schematics and work from prints
-Comfortable working in shipboard/confined environments
-Ability to work full-time, Mon-Fri
